DLG award winner
In October 2007 DLG (German Agricultural Society) called for the 2nd International Quality Contest for Organic Products. Now they announced the winners: Sweden's oat product specialist and market leader Oatly AB received a "Gold Medal" in the "Convenience" category for Oatly Cuisine Organic.
With a Gold Medal, DLG's expert jury rewards outstanding products of high quality, made with choice ingredients and carefully prepared. Of course the attention of the testers centers on sensory categories as well: a Gold Medal winning product has to be excellent in smell, taste, colour and so on. These points are of increasing importance as organic food has no longer to meet high criteria regarding production and processing methods only but has also to taste better than comparable non-organic products.
DLG jury was fully convinced that Oatly Cuisine Organic meets all of these criteria. It's a healthy alternative to cream for cooking and baking, e.g. for soups, sauces, gratins, quiches, or desserts.
